Wimbledon Today – Matches on June 30
When it comes to great Wimbledon tips today, you’re once again in good hands with me. That’s because I’ve identified the most relevant first-round matches of the second day of competition for German sports betting fans.
I’ve taken a close look at three opening matches featuring German players, as well as the highlight of the day—Wawrinka vs. Berrettini. Enjoy all the matches through bet365’s extensive selection of betting options—and I’ve narrowed it down to only the best ones!
If you want to place Wimbledon bets today, you can once again choose from more than 30 first-round matches—and that’s just in the men’s draw!
Of course, my focus was particularly on Alexander Zverev. The French Open champion recently won his first Grand Slam title, and if Jannik Sinner’s physical condition falters again, back-to-back title wins in Paris and London wouldn’t be out of the question.
Of course, I’ve also turned my attention to his two compatriots, Hanfmann and Altmaier, as well as Stan Wawrinka. The Swiss tennis legend could be playing one of his final Grand Slam matches tonight.

Wimbledon tips for today, June 30: Hanfmann – Mpetshi Perricard (12:00 p.m.)
A damn tough challenge awaits Yannick Hanfmann here, as his French opponent is one of the most dangerous servers on the tour. Mpetshi Perricard’s brutal serve hits the grass like a bomb, leaving the returner almost no reaction time at all.
Since Hanfmann was eliminated in the second round at Mallorca recently and often struggles with timing on fast surfaces, he’s in for a very tough day. If he doesn’t neutralize the Frenchman’s serve early on, he’ll have a hard time winning this match!
My expert tip: Mpetshi Perricard’s serve dominates!
Wimbledon Betting Today, June 30: Khachanov – Harris (1:10 p.m.)
In this matchup, Karen Khachanov takes the court as the clear favorite, as he brings significantly greater consistency at the Grand Slam level. His powerful groundstrokes and reliable serve make him a tough opponent on the fast courts in London.
British home favorite Billy Harris (ATP 140) fought his way through qualifying with great tenacity and will be cheered on by the home crowd.
On the big stage, however, the 31-year-old veteran simply lacks the tools to compete against the absolute world elite.
My expert tip: Khachanov has the edge in quality!
Tennis Betting Today, June 30: Virtanen – Shelton (2:15 p.m.)
An extremely explosive serve-off awaits us in this match. While Ben Shelton enters the match as the clear favorite, Finnish qualifier Otto Virtanen has hit peak form on grass and has already been firing off aces left and right in Nottingham.
Shelton’s brutal left-handed serves and his immense physicality naturally work in his favor on the big stage. But because Virtanen is perfectly warmed up after three grueling qualifying rounds, this will be a very close match that goes to at least four sets and tiebreaks.
My expert tip: Get ready for plenty of aces!
Tennis Betting Today, June 30: Blockx – Zverev (2:00 p.m.)
Zverev faces a dangerous hurdle right off the bat, as the young Belgian is having an absolute breakout season. Although Zverev is seeded No. 2, Blockx has climbed to No. 37 in record time and is coming off his injury-related break with tremendous energy.
The top German player looked vulnerable on the grass in Halle and struggled with back problems. If Blockx gets his explosive game going right away, he’ll force the favored Hamburg native into a tough battle from the very first second.
My expert tip: Zverev will have a hard time getting into the match!
Wimbledon today, June 30: Molcan – Altmaier (4:00 p.m.)
Against Daniel Altmaier, I see the Slovakian Alex Molcan holding a razor-thin advantage on Tuesday. Molcan has become well-accustomed to the timing of grass courts through qualifying in Mallorca and has already beaten the German in straight sets this year in Munich.
Altmaier is extremely prone to errors on fast grass and has been struggling to find his form for months. Since Molcan will prolong the rallies with aggressive, tenacious play, he’ll disrupt Altmaier’s rhythm and take the match.
My expert tip: The value lies in betting on “Molcan to win”
Wimbledon today, June 30: Wawrinka – Berrettini (4:50 p.m.)
This first-round showdown between two Grand Slam icons promises absolute thrills on the London grass on Tuesday. For Wawrinka, who is kicking off his very last Wimbledon season thanks to a wild card, the draw against the former finalist is, however, a brutal matchup.
Berrettini is considered one of the most dangerous unseeded players in the entire draw and brings sheer power to the grass courts.
Facing the Italian’s killer serve and thunderous forehand, the Swiss veteran is unlikely to find his rhythm over the full distance in his farewell match.
My expert tip: A standing ovation for Wawrinka’s farewell match!
