French Open Today – Matches on June 3
At Roland Garros, the motto is: Equal pay – equal attention. Today at the French Open, both the men’s and women’s tournaments are entering their decisive phase. You can look forward to two exciting quarterfinal matchups in each!
French Open today – June 3, 2026
It’s the tournament of the young guns—there’s no doubt about it! Alexander Zverev isn’t even 30 yet, and he almost seems like a grandpa compared to the many teenage talents who have stormed into the quarterfinals alongside him.
The French Open schedule for early this morning features the two women’s quarterfinal matches first. I’m already super excited for the powerhouse showdown between Sabalenka and Shnaider!
But of course, I’ve also checked out the odds from trusted bookmakers for the two thrilling men’s matches that will follow right after.
Especially with Berrettini vs. Arnaldi, I have a feeling we’re in for another wild five-set thriller. Berrettini may be the favorite, but don’t forget that this is his first appearance since 2021.
French Open broadcast today: Where are the matches on June 3?
The French Open can once again be followed today without interruption and in full via the streaming platforms Eurosport, DAZN, or HBO Max.
French Open today, June 3: Auger-Aliassime – Cobolli
This match has all the ingredients for an absolute Grand Slam drama. Cobolli has proven on his favorite surface that he is a true mental beast, but he tends to suffer from inexplicable mental slumps as soon as the pressure mounts in the decisive stages.
Auger-Aliassime, on the other hand, is currently serving his way through the tournament with tremendous power, but his notorious mental fragility in tight moments is, unfortunately, well-known on the tour.
Neither player will dominate this match in three sets. Cobolli’s brutal topspin forehand and his defensive prowess will drag Auger-Aliassime into long, grueling clay-court rallies that will cost the Canadian at least one set.
In turn, Auger-Aliassime will repeatedly secure easy game wins with his enormous serving dominance and improved first-serve points won (recently over 75%) and take sets from Cobolli.
My expert tip: I expect 4 hours of playing time!
French Open today, June 3: Berrettini – Arnaldi
This all-Italian quarterfinal is an absolute psychological and physical test of endurance.
Arnaldi has truly earned the nickname “Marathon Matteo”: His five-set battles against Collignon and, most recently, against Tiafoe took over ten hours of grueling effort.
But it is precisely this unstoppable rhythm and his extreme momentum that make him a threat to an opponent who is back at the French Open for the first time in five years!
While Berrettini is the more dominant player in terms of technique, he brings the well-known physical limitations to the table. On the slow Parisian clay, his fast service points fizzle out much more easily, which immediately forces him into long rallies against a tenacious defensive specialist like Arnaldi.
Since Berrettini is extremely prone to regular lapses in concentration and physical slumps in long best-of-five matches following his injury-related breaks, Arnaldi will ruthlessly exploit these gaps with his fierce fighting spirit.
Even if Arnaldi’s tank runs dry by the end, his current confidence is enough to take at least two sets from Berrettini.
My expert tip: I see Arnaldi making it to the semifinals
French Open today, June 3: Kalinskaya – Chwalinska
This matchup is the definition of an unpredictable late-round Grand Slam clash. Poland’s Maja Chwalinska, ranked 114th in the world, is the absolute Cinderella story in Paris. After seven straight wins (including qualifying), the left-hander is brimming with enthusiasm.
Her varied clay-court tennis, peppered with countless drop shots and lobs, has already completely unnerved Sakkari and Parry. Since Chwalinska appears physically fresh and is playing completely without pressure, she will boldly mix up her game right from the start here as well.
Kalinskaya, on the other hand, had to struggle through an emotional, nearly three-hour drama against Potapova in the round of 16, during which she racked up 58 unforced errors and showed extreme nerves.
Chwalinska’s unconventional rhythm will send Kalinskaya from one predicament to the next. The Polish player will ride the wave of euphoria and secure at least one set, if not a ticket to the semifinals.
My expert tip: The Polish player capitalizes on the momentum
French Open today, June 3: Sabalenka – Shnaider
This all-Eastern European quarterfinal promises pure power from the baseline. Twenty-two-year-old Diana Shnaider secured the first Grand Slam quarterfinal of her career with her three-set victory over Madison Keys.
The left-hander brings extremely difficult, angled spins to the table, but tends to reach her physical and mental limits in long matches against the absolute elite power players.
Sabalenka, on the other hand, is currently playing in Paris as if she’s from another planet. In the highly anticipated blockbuster match against Naomi Osaka, the world No. 1 fired an unstoppable 39 winners and 12 aces over the net.
Incidentally, following the sensational elimination of all other major champions, Sabalenka is now the only remaining Grand Slam champion in the field.
My prediction: Shnaider will be completely overwhelmed by the brutal pace and depth of Sabalenka’s shots. A straight-set victory for the top favorite is the only logical scenario here.
My expert tip: Rock-hard rallies from the baseline
