Tomas Barrios Vera can be happy with his winning record this year. He has won 39 of his 55 matches. In the process, he was on Challenger level almost all the time, but still managed to convince.

Barrios Vera is in good form. The Chilean put in a strong performance at the last tournament before Wimbledon, reaching the final in Poznan. Before that, he had already reached the semi-finals in Bratislava.

At Wimbledon, a few weeks later, it went to the quarter-finals, had to admit defeat in this round to the perennial winner of the traditional tournament, Novak Djokovic. Goffin also made it to the last eight once again in 2022.
Despite the notable results, the fast surface is the weakest on paper in his career, with a 57 per cent win rate.

Fabian Marozsan, who played his first grass court matches this year and moved into the main draw as a lucky loser, also managed to take a set off Goffin in the first round.
However, the Belgian presented otherwise good values, brought through 85 and 73 percent of the points after first and second service and played himself seven successful breaks out of 13 chances, while the Hungarian had only two opportunities.
Nevertheless, I can very well imagine that the well-formed Barrios Vera will offer Goffin strong resistance and can win at least one set.

If Barrios’ grass matches are anything to go by, a bet could also be placed on over 0.5 tiebreaks. In his first four matches on the green, there have been four 7-6 set outcomes. Betano provides 1.62 odds.
