Farke has a good squad and a real luxury problem in midfield. In preparation, world champion Christoph Kramer attracted attention, and he was also one of the best in the cup. In the Bundesliga, he will probably be in the starting eleven again, as two regulars, Stindl and Friedrich, are currently absent due to injury. Marvin Friedrich (muscle fibre tear) and Lars Stindl (fascia injury thigh) are missing through injury, so the starting eleven will have to be shuffled around a bit. Itakura moves into central defence for Friedrich, Kramer takes over in midfield. Hofmann replaces Stindl in attacking midfield, Herrmann takes over on the right wing.
