Sinner – Struff Prediction: Wimbledon, July 7, 2026

ATP Tournament at Wimbledon, Quarterfinals on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 2:00 p.m.

Do you know the famous 2007 movie “The Best Comes Last”? That’s pretty much how Jan-Lennard Struff’s career has gone. At the tender age of 36, the Warstein native is reaching his first Grand Slam quarterfinal.

Unfortunately, my preferred bet on Sinner vs. Struff is still a tough one for the underdog. At odds of around 1.47, I’m selecting the 3-0 result in favor of Sinner from Betano Sportsbook’s offerings—and I’m doing so without hesitation!

The South Tyrolean is back in his groove and has already won all three of their previous head-to-head matches. “Struffi,” on the other hand, will inevitably run into physical problems, as three of his last four grueling matches alone went to a fifth set.

Sinner vs. Struff AI Predictions:

A combo bet currently offering odds of 3.63 at Betano—instead of the 3.30 generally available on the markets—involves the one-click combo: Over 0.5 tiebreaks & Sinner wins sets 1 and 2.

Admittedly, the tiebreak part is the most difficult aspect of this Sinner vs. Struff tip, but the Warsteiner native has already made it to a so-called “decider” a whopping nine times in this tournament so far.

Predicted Chance of Winning:

Sinner to win
Struff to win
92.5%
7.5%

Precisely because the German is currently fighting like a gladiator and defeated Medvedev 3-0 just a few days ago, it’s not unthinkable that he’ll rise to the occasion again—at least at times.

I still don’t believe that will happen, though, since in my Sinner vs. Struff prediction I’m expecting the South Tyrolean to win in straight sets; but after all, grass is the only surface on which the German has ever taken a set from the defending champion.

Consequently, I can understand if some of you would like to take a chance on the “Set Winner: Struff” bet. After all, the odds of 2.42 offered by Bwin for this bet at least don’t have a negative expected value.

What You Need to Keep in Mind for Sinner vs. Struff Bets

  • Serve & Power: Struff served 24 aces against Hurkacz in the round of 16. Sinner countered by winning 82% of points on his first serve.
  • The Grass Factor: At 36, Struff is reaching the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the first time. Sinner aims to defend his title as last year’s champion on Church Road.
  • Head-to-Head: Sinner’s flawless record speaks for itself: He leads the head-to-head series 3-0 (most recently in a close match on grass in Halle).
  • Grand Slam momentum: No. 1 Sinner has lost only one match since March. Struff sensationally knocked out Medvedev and Hurkacz in succession.
