FC Torino vs. Juventus Torino
Coming up next Saturday is the city derby in Turin. The Deby della Mole has a long tradition and is one of the most important games in the championship for both fan camps. As always, the Old Lady is the favourite. Juventus Turin, however, is by no means in top form: the Juventini conceded many goals recently, which is why there was unrest around the otherwise sovereign Italian record champions.
FC Torino play in front of their home crowd, which can definitely be decisive in a derby. The Turin team is undefeated for four games and has been able to build up some confidence in the recent past. We are convinced that we will see an exciting match. Find out more about this northern derby in our Turin vs Juventus tip

Turin Form & Balance Check
Turin FC are currently in solid form. The Turin side have not lost for four games and have managed to bounce back after their first two defeats to start the season. In the penultimate match, FC Torino snatched a 1-1 draw against Lazio Roma. Lazio dominated the game in this match and had 54 per cent possession, but the Toro fired three more shots on goal than the Laziali. In the following match against Venezia, however, Turin fans were hoping for much more than the disappointing 1-1 draw in Venice.
The last direct duel against Juve ended 2:2
In previous years, the Toro had quite little to criticise against the Old Lady. But in the last match, Belotti, Izzo and Co. managed to earn a 2-2 draw at home. With the Turin side playing another home game, we suspect that with their fans behind them, they will definitely have a chance against the Juventini. Ultimately, however, Juventus are back on the up and up, so we suspect they will still win against Torino.
Turin facts & analysis
– They are currently in ninth place in the table.
– Torino have not lost for four games now
– Toro played the last direct duel against Juventus 2:2
Juventus Form & Balance Check
The Old Lady was able to gain some confidence during the week. Juventus Turin showed a strong performance in the Champions League match against Chelsea FC and deserved to win 1-0 in the end. Chelsea were able to shine with significantly more possession, but just like the Juventini, they only shot once at the opposing goalkeeper’s box. The team from Piedmont is unbeaten in five games across the competition. For this reason, the form curve is once again pointing steeply upwards.
Unusually many goals conceded
Although the Old Lady’s form has improved in the past three Serie A games, it is noticeable that Juventus Turin are conceding a number of goals. The Old Lady has conceded a total of five goals in the past three league games. Even the change of goalkeeper in the last match against Sampdoria Genoa did not bring the desired success.
Juventus facts & analysis
– Juventus Turin are currently in tenth place in the table.
– They are unbeaten in five games across the competition
– The Old Lady have won three games in a row recently
Predicted line-up – last update on 30 September 2021
We suspect FC Torino will make two changes from their last starting line-up. Defender Djidji picked up a yellow card against Venezia in the previous match. Zima could start in his place. In the centre of attack, Belotti will certainly be back in the starting line-up.
We suspect that Juventus coach Max Allegri will change relatively little compared to the game against Chelsea FC. However, Rabiot was substituted with an injury in the last match, so we expect Bernardeschi to start at the eight position. We expect the Old Lady to play in a classic 4-3-3 system.
Turin vs Juventus direct comparison & stats
Turin FC have almost always come away empty-handed in their past direct duels against city rivals Juventus. Of the past 18 direct duels, the Toro won just one, three times they played to a draw and an incredible 14 times the Bianconeri walked off the pitch as winners. We believe Juventus can build on this positive record next Saturday.
