The game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Phoenix Suns is far from just the highlight of the week! In fact, I would go so far as to say that it will also be the final game of this year’s Western Conference Finals.
Both franchises are riding a hell of a wave right now and have clearly separated themselves from the rest of the field. In my Grizzlies Suns tip, I’ll go into some aspects that could end up being the difference in this NBA cracker …
Both the Suns and Grizzlies have won nine of their last ten NBA games! That alone tells you everything you need to know about this game! Basketball fans should pay close attention with an eye on the playoffs tonight.
Because it is almost certain that one of these two teams will eventually advance to the NBA Finals! But who has the better cards with regard to tonight?
Bottom line, it’s the Suns – and here’s why: Unlike the home side, Arizona’s key players are not only enjoying great health, but continue to give 100% despite already being in first place.
The Suns defeated the equally strong Warriors only yesterday and were able to draw from a full roster with Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder and Mikael Bridges.
The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are like a headless chicken that keeps running anyway. Although their best man Ja Morant will be out until the start of the playoffs, the dark blue team continues to win one game after the other.
Most recently, it was the Spurs who had to give way! But the razor-thin 120-119 win over the mediocre Texas franchise already shows that a really strong opponent in top form like the Suns can certainly beat the home side in this composition.
“Offense wins games, defence wins championships” is an old saying in basketball, but one that has lost little of its truthfulness over the years – and in fact, I think it’s perfect for making a valid Grizzlies Suns prediction.
Because when push comes to shove, I trust the visitors’ strong defence more than the Grizziles’ offensive qualities. They have scored the most points in the league, but once again it must be remembered that the main driver is injured.

The last meeting was a nail-biting thriller, which Memphis won by a narrow 133-132 margin in a heart-stopping final, but which was dominated by the now-injured Ja Morant’s 33 points.
The best bookmakers also seem to think that the visitors are likely to be difficult to break down in this composition – even for the surprise team of the 2021/22 season.
Conclusion: The Grizzlies are an Offenisv machine that is currently running like clockwork even without their best man. Still, I think the dark blue will meet their match in the Suns.

The Black and Violets also have a lot more experience and have the second-best defence in the NBA. It will definitely be an entertaining game, but in the end the top of the table should prevail.
