Tennis tips today – Matches today 30.03.

And suddenly everything happens very quickly! We’ve now reached the quarter-finals of the Miami Open 2022, so you won’t find many tennis stars on the grounds. The top favourites of the sports betting providers? Not all of them are there any more!

At least once the German colours are still on the list of participants, and it is clear that Alexander Zverev is desperate to make it into the top four. In terms of favourites, however, Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz are ahead of him.

In the women’s singles, there has already been a mix-up, and we know that surprises are possible on a daily basis. Iga Swiatek has been going her own way so far, Naomi Osaka is also surprisingly strong.

On wettfreunde.net we will take a closer look at today’s Wednesday (including the early night to Thursday) and highlight the matches of the day garnished with suitable tips and odds.

Tennis tips today – 30.03.2022 preview

With only eight stars left on both sides and the finals not being played until the weekend, the number of matches naturally minimises. Wednesday night? That’s when only Jannik Sinner and Francisco Cerundolo are still playing in the men’s side.

Once this match is over, you wait a few hours before the German flags are brought out. Alexander Zverev gets the toughest opponent in this Masters with Casper Ruud, but is still clearly favoured.

We will see a similar procedure in the women’s singles. The duel between Paula Badosa and Jessica Pegula, in which the favourites go narrowly to the Spaniard, will first be played on Wednesday.

If we turn the page at midnight, the top favourite of the tournament, Iga Swiatek, is warming up. She will be up against Petra Kvitova, who should always be on your radar because of her experience.

Tennis tips today broadcast: Where are the matches on 30.03.?

The matches are getting fewer. Actually good, because this way there is no more parallel play. The best eight men’s matches can still be followed via Sky or SkyGo. The global streaming service Tennis Channel still has a few matches left in the women’s competition before the winner is crowned.

Tennis tips today 30.03.: Jannik Sinner – Francisco Cerundolo (21:05 Uhr)

What is the world number 103 doing in the Miami quarter-finals? Probably few people expected Francisco Cerundolo! The Argentine is playing very well, but is now being served the toughest opponent in the tournament.

He has beaten Tallon Griekspoor, Reilly Opelka (after giving up), Gael Monfils and Francis Tiafoe so far, especially the five games he gave up against Monfils were impressive. He will now play Sinner for the very first time.

The Italian initially had a lot of problems getting into the tournament well, struggling to a close 3-set win over Emil Rusuuvuori. After he also won against Pablo Carreno Busta in a close match, he had arrived in Miami.

In the round of 16, he faced Nick Kyrgios, who is in the best of moods at the moment. While the latter had to struggle with his nerves and the referee’s penalties, the 20-year-old Sinner Coll stayed on: 7-6, 6-3! Logically, he is now the top favourite with odds of 1.15 to 5.00.

Our Expert Tip: 2:0 Sinner

Tennis tips today 31.03: Casper Ruud vs Alexander Zverev (03:00)

Alexander Zverev seems to have coped well with his early Indian Wells exit. The 24-year-old is desperate to reach the semi-finals in Miami. After his victory against Borna Coric in three sets, he has noticeably improved.

First he won 6-2, 6-2 against Mackenzie McDonald, followed by a 6-4, 6-4 against Thanasi Kokkinakis. He did not give up a single break chance, although he left it at four aces. Zverev played his current opponent three times in 2021: And won three times!

So far, he has not lost a set against Casper Ruud. The Norwegian, however, seems to have big plans in Miami. Three games against Henri Laaksonen, five against Alexander Bublik and seven against Cameron Norrie?

He won all of them outright! In the last 16, however, there was also a bit of nervousness, because not even 60% of his first serve went straight over the net. Zverev, favoured at 1.30 to 3.40, is consistently over 70% here.

Our Expert Tip: Over 20.5 Games

Tennis tips today 30.03.: Paula Padosa – Jessica Pegula (19:00)

On the women’s side, the focus will be on Paula Badosa this Wednesday. The world number 6, who narrowly failed to reach the semi-finals in Indian Wells, wants to reach the final in Miami.

So far, her performances have been impeccable. She has beaten Marie Bouzkova, Yulia Putintseva and Linda Fruhvirtova without losing a set. However, the absolute top opponents were not among them, and she did not drop a set before her elimination in Indian Wells.

Jessica Pegula has had a similar tournament so far. The US-American first clearly beat her compatriot Sloane Stephens, before she won straight against Elena Rybakina.

Her opponent in the round of 16, Anhelina Kalinina, had to retire injured after losing the first set 0-6. The bookmakers favour Paula Badosa, but as the two players have never faced each other, it is likely to be close.

Our Expert Tip: Win Padosa

Tennis tips today 31.03.: Petra Kvitova – Iga Swiatek (01:00 h)

She was where her upcoming opponent is now over ten years ago. When Petra Kvitova meets Iga Swiatek, it will be clear that a lot has changed in women’s tennis. The young Pole is clearly favoured, with bookies offering 1.20 at 4.70.

The way Swiatek is storming through this tournament is not surprising. Victoria Golubic, Madison Brengle and Cori Gauff were completely without a chance, winning only nine games between them.

Petra Kvitova had much more trouble in her matches. She had to fight hard in her 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 defeat of Clara Burel, Lauren Davis and Veronika Kudermetova were then beaten more clearly, but she could not match her glory days with her performances.

Although the Czech has been playing for years, she has never reached a semi-final in Miami. Will she be able to do so against the winner of Indian Wells? The betting companies are very sceptical.

Our Expert Tip: Over 8.5 Games Set 1
