Tennis tips today – Matches today from 19.06.
The last round of 16 matches in Halle and London are scheduled for Thursday, before the last eight players advance to the quarter-finals on Friday. Our tennis tips today feature the world’s elite players competing in two 500-series tournaments.
Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner are playing on German soil, while Carlos Alcaraz is in action in the English capital, meaning all of the top three players in the world rankings are in action. The Spaniard probably has the most challenging task ahead of him.
The newly crowned French Open champion will face his compatriot Jaume Munar, who is not exactly known as a grass court specialist and is at a significant disadvantage against the high-flyer from El Palmar.
I’ll reveal which bet is the best option here, as I will for the other matches below. One thing is already certain: after his triumph at Roland Garros and his two Wimbledon titles in 2023 and 2024, the Spaniard will once again be the man to beat on the hallowed turf in a few weeks’ time!
Tennis tips today – June 19, 2025
While Alcaraz’s match is only a question of how high he will win, Sinner is likely to have a little more to chew on in his second grass court match this year. He swept Alexander Bublik aside on clay, but I don’t expect him to have such an easy ride on the fast surface.
The Kazakh serves superbly, can close out points quickly and now has the right surface for it, which doesn’t slow the ball down too much. He has won one 500 title so far. And where? In Halle, of course!
After his quick victory, which I predicted in my match preview, Zverev will be looking to build on his performance against Lorenzo Sonego. Will the Italian prove to be a stumbling block? He has already knocked one German player out of the competition in Jan-Lennard Struff.
The fourth match we are presenting to you as part of today’s tennis betting is that of Andrey Rublev. The Russian is lagging behind his top form, but with his playing potential, he is still one of the world’s elite in my opinion. After all, he has already won 17 titles!

Tennis tips today, June 19: Alcaraz – Munar (4:00 p.m.)
Alcaraz has racked up an impressive 14 wins in a row. After his Masters triumph in Rome, he went on to win the French Open in a sensational comeback against Sinner in a five-and-a-half-hour duel of the giants. He took a nine-day break and then got back on the grass with a smooth two-set victory over Adam Walton.
His opponent in the second round benefited from the withdrawal of the injured Jordan Thompson at the start of the tournament and was able to improve his disastrous grass court win rate of 26 percent. He has won five of 19 matches in his career, while Alcaraz has won 28 of 32.
Our expert tip: Alcaraz to win (-5.5 games)
Tennis betting today 19.06.: Rublev vs. Etcheverry (1:00 p.m.)
Rublev is back on form. He reached the final in Hamburg, lost to Sinner at the French Open, and got off to a confident start in Halle with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Sebastian Ofner. Just under a year ago, he won his only direct duel against Tomas Martin Etcheverry without losing a set.
The Argentine is not yet comfortable on grass, having played only 15 matches on the surface in his career. He has one of the easier first-round opponents in Pedro Martinez. If he beats Rublev, he will celebrate his second grass-court victory in a year.
Our expert tip: Set 1 & Match Rublev
Tennis betting today 19.06: Sonego – Zverev (3:30 p.m.)
With three straight wins in Stuttgart and Halle, Zverev is off to another flying start, dropping just three games and not allowing a single break point. I rate Sonego much higher, especially after his strong performance against Struff.
However, he has only won one set in four matches against the German number one. As in their last encounter, they face each other again in the second round in Halle. Zverev won in straight sets but had to go to a tiebreak.
Our expert tip: Zverev to win & tiebreak in the match
Tennis betting today 19.06.: Sinner – Bublik (5:00 p.m.)
I’m most excited about this match. Returning Bublik’s shots on grass is damn difficult. But if anyone can reliably get the ball back to the other side, it’s the South Tyrolean, who could have had an equally successful career in giant slalom.
And it was on the grass in Halle that Bublik recorded his only victory against Sinner to date. However, Sinner was injured and ultimately had to retire in the second set. The previous matches ended 7-5, and there have already been two tiebreaks in this matchup. Betano has the right odds.
Our expert tip: Tiebreak in the match
