Tennis tips today – today’s matches on 11/14
Anything is still possible in the Ilie Nastase group of the ATP Finals with Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz and Alex De Minaur! Sinner can actually still be eliminated after two wins, but at the same time, Alex De Minaur could still advance after two matches with no success so far.
Tennis and the group stage, there’s just something about it and in my opinion it could be done more often. Fritz and De Minaur get things started on Thursday. De Minaur can only advance with a big win, but would then be able to assert himself on game difference if Sinner wins handily against Medvedev in the later slot.
There are a lot of calculations, but in the end I concentrate on the current performance of the players, the past duels and finally dare to predict how the match might go and give you the appropriate odds along the way. By the way, both recommended bets went through on the last matchday of the group!
According to the tournament odds, Sinner is still ahead at Betano, and he was able to secure his fantastic hard court record with a victory against Fritz, the repeat of the US Open final, victory number 48. Will he make it to 50 in 2024?
I definitely believe Sinner can reach 50. He’s the clear favorite against Medvedev. That would be 49, then he would only have to win the semi-finals of the ATP Finals to reach the 50 mark. In 2023, he also had 50 hard-court successes, but significantly more defeats.
In 2024, he is on his favorite surface with only three defeats. He is still completely undefeated in the hall after seven matches following his tournament victory in Rotterdam and the perfect start in Turin. He is 7-7 against Medvedev in their head-to-head, but Sinner has celebrated seven successes in the last eight meetings.
Actually, it is eight wins from the last nine matches, but the exhibition tournament in Saudi Arabia, the “Six Kings Slam”, is not officially listed. Rightly so in my opinion, even though a whopping prize money of six million US dollars was waiting for the winner.
However, Medvedev was not particularly interested in that, and was quite satisfied with the tasty first prize of $1.5 million, allowing himself to be swept away 0-6, 3-6 in just over an hour.
A classic Medvedev, in the hopeless return game against Fritz at the finals, he caused a stir with a forward-facing grip before returning and received a lot of criticism for it. After all, the local fans expect the stars to give their all for the not-exactly-cheap ticket prices. He managed to do that a game later.
Tennis Tips today Broadcast: Where are the matches on November 14th?
The ATP Finals are broadcast by Sky Sport Tennis. Former professionals Philipp Kohlschreiber and Patrick Kühnen will be the experts on the microphone. If you register with Bet365 or Winamax, you can also watch the games in a free stream, although HD TV quality is not offered. However, regular odds boosts are available.
Tennis Tips today 14.11.: Fritz – De Minaur (14:00 o’clock)
Taylor Fritz has started well in the finals, hardly letting anything slip through his fingers in the service games against Medvedev and showing aggression in his returns. He didn’t put in a weak performance against Sinner either; once again, the South Tyrolean was a few percent better, or to be more precise, ten points better.
De Minaur also suffered a clean two-set defeat against Sinner and was also without a chance against Medvedev, again giving up almost every second point on his own service. After his long injury break, he is not yet back to where he was a few months ago.
He was already vulnerable in his service games in the previous tournaments in Paris and Vienna. In the tenth encounter, I expect Fritz to exert pressure by quickly winning many service games and, in good form, to secure his second victory. Incidentally, Betano accepts Apple Pay deposits.

Tennis Betting today 14.11.: Sinner – Medvedev (20:30)
Jannik Sinner is now dominating the duel against Daniil Medvedev, the two hard court aces have faced each other five times this year alone. Only on grass did Medvedev retain the upper hand, in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. They met in three Grand Slam tournaments in 2024.
The Italian won the final in Melbourne and later the quarterfinals at the US Open. With the Six Kings Slam duel, we are now at eight hard court wins in a row against Medvedev. A strong record against the Russian, who is one of the best on this surface, but 2024 was not his best year in his career.
He secured a resounding 6-2, 6-4 victory against De Minaur, with the Australian making far too many mistakes overall. Stronger opponents were able to score significantly more points, especially on Medvedev’s second serve, which not infrequently ends in double faults when under pressure. Sinner is currently performing at a higher level.
Our expert tip: 2:0 Sinner
