The Laver Cup 2022 mode will feature a total of 12 matches, nine in singles and three in doubles. There will be three singles and one doubles each day.
Each player will play one or two singles, and at least four of the six players will compete in doubles – with each pairing only being allowed once.
The points are awarded like this: On each day, one more point is awarded for a win. That means: Wins on day 1 bring one point. Victories on Day 2 earn two points and each victory on Day 3 earns three points.
Each match is played in a best-of-three format. If the first two sets are tied, there will be a match tie-break (up to 10). If the final score is 12:12, two doubles pairs will play a match tie-break for the overall victory.
