French Open today – Matches from May 30.
The first two rounds of the French Open are complete. Unfortunately, all German women have been eliminated, with Eva Lys facing a difficult second-round draw against the talented Canadian Victoria Mboko.
In the men’s competition, however, two tennis aces are still in contention in the singles. Alongside figurehead and last year’s Paris finalist Alexander Zverev, Daniel Altmaier is looking to at least repeat his Grand Slam best performance from 2020. Back then, he reached the round of 16 at the French Open.
To equal that mark, he must defeat Hamad Medjedovic today. He has already played the Serbian once this year, suffering a narrow defeat. This time, however, the round of 32 players will face each other on clay.
In today’s French Open tips, I have a few more treats from Roland Garros in store for you besides Altmaier’s match. Among others, the defending champion is back in action. Carlos Alcaraz faces Bosnia’s best player.

Damir Dzumhur wants to trip up Alcaraz. The world number 69 knocked top server Giovanni Mpetshi-Perricard out of the tournament and, after his match on Court Suzanne-Lenglen, will now get a taste of the biggest court, Court Philippe-Chatrier.
It is likely to be a tough match for the man who made his professional debut in 2011. The duel between Lorenzo Musetti and Mariano Navone should be a little more exciting, but in the end, the Italian should prevail with his slightly better offensive tennis.
The match between the two counter-players with quick feet is unlikely to be a short one. We can look forward to some long rallies here. In the women’s draw, I’m looking at the absolute top stars and favorites for the title today!

French Open today, May 30: Dzumhur – Alcaraz (8:15 p.m.)
Alcaraz was just 17 years old when he played his only match against Dzumhur to date. At the Challenger in Barcelona, he got the better of Dzumhur, who is eleven years his senior. Since then, the Spanish number one in particular has clearly improved his game.
Dzumhur reached the third round in Madrid, but he was unable to compete with the top stars. Carlos Alcaraz has had a smooth ride so far, only losing the second set against Fabian Marozsan, but then dominating him in the third.

French Open betting today 30.05.: Medjedovic – Altmaier (2:30 p.m.)
Altmaier is the slight underdog according to the odds, but I can’t really understand why. The Kempen native is a good all-round clay court player and has knocked Taylor Fritz, the number four seed, out of the tournament, reaching the third round in Monaco, among other places.
Medjedovic traveled to the French capital with three consecutive defeats and didn’t have the biggest names to contend with in Kamil Majchrzak and Juan Manuel Cerundolo. Tennis bets today 30.05.: Cristian – Swiatek (1:00 p.m.)
Swiatek and Jaqueline Cristian have not played each other yet, but I see clear advantages for the four-time FO winner, who did not give Rebecca Sramkova and Emma Raducanu a chance at all. So far, the Polish player has lost a maximum of three games in a set.
Cristian had a much tougher start to the second round and was generally more vulnerable when she had to swing. Overall, however, she has performed well so far, following up her lost set with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Sara Bejlek. Swiatek has also been searching for her top form for months.
My expert tip: Cristian to win (7.5 games handicap)
Tennis betting today 29.05.: Sabalenka – Danilovic (12:00 p.m.)
Unlike Swiatek, Sabalenka knows her opponent from at least one match, but that was seven years ago. In the qualifiers for the Madrid Masters, the current world number one won 6-4, 6-2.
Will it be another walk in the park? I’m not so sure. Danilovic is having a really good clay court season with a 13-3 record and has also beaten Leylah Annie Fernandez and Danielle Collins, who are not exactly walkovers. Here, too, I’m going for odds from VBET.

French Open today, May 30: Musetti – Navone (11:00 a.m.)
In this match, I would like to bet on the length of the match in minutes, as I am convinced that we will see some long rallies here. Neither player is known for powerful winners. The head-to-head record stands at 1:1 after two matches.
On his way to the bronze medal at the Olympics, Musetti won their most recent encounter in straight sets, but had to go to a tiebreak. Navone is a fighter and has already made life difficult for a few top players this season. He forced Jack Draper into five sets at the Australian Open.
