French Open today – Matches on June 2

Slowly but surely, we are moving toward the final! There have been a few surprises at the 2025 French Open, but the top favorites are not letting anything slip.

This is particularly exciting to see in our French Open tips today, because at some point the best players will face each other directly. Alexander Zverev will play his round of 16 match on Monday and is just as favored as Jannik Sinner.

For veteran Novak Djokovic, an exit in the round of 16 is not an option, and Jack Draper, who has been among the world’s best for several months, is also aiming for the quarterfinals. There’s no question about it: Monday’s matches all have a favorite.

That means I don’t have to pick out any highlight matches from the schedule, but can dive straight into all four duels. Where might there be a sensation in the air and which bets are recommended?

French Open tips today – June 2, 2025

Alexander Zverev has reached the round of 16 in Paris eight times in a row. But his journey is far from over, and most people expect him to have no trouble defeating Tallon Griekspoor.

Novak Djokovic has not faltered at all in this French Open. The Serb is looking incredibly confident, and at first glance, his next opponent, Cameron Norrie, does not appear to be a match for him.

I don’t see much cause for criticism with Jack Draper either. The Brit is up next in the round of 16 on Monday. Alexander Bublik may look like a beatable opponent at first glance, but he has already knocked out Alex de Minaur.

The world number one is aiming for his first French Open title. Jannik Sinner has had an excellent run so far in the French capital and is therefore the clear favorite against Andrey Rublev.

French Open broadcast today: Where can I watch the matches on June 2?

You’re in luck: Monday’s matches are no longer taking place at the same time. That means you can watch every point live and in color on Eurosport. Or you can watch the stream and follow the action on the go.

French Open today, June 2: Alexander Zverev – Tallon Griekspoor (12:10 p.m.)

Alexander Zverev has been very confident so far at this French Open. After his 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 win over Learner Tien in the first round, he beat Jesper de Jong 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3. Flavio Cobolli was defeated 6-2, 7-6, 6-1 in the third round. In his last two matches, however, he failed to win 70% of the points on his first serve.

He leads Tallon Griekspoor 7-2 in their head-to-head record, and it is also interesting to note that the last seven matches between the two have gone to ten tiebreaks. The Dutchman has so far been successful against Marcos Giron (4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5), Gabriel Diallo (7-5, 7-6, 1-6, 6-1) and Ethan Quinn (4-6, 6-1, 6-7, 6-1, 6-4).

My expert tip: Over 3.5 sets

French Open betting today 02.06.: Cameron Norrie – Novak Djokovic (1:20 p.m.)

Novak Djokovic has conjured up three truly commanding performances on the Paris clay so far. After his 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Mackenzie McDonald, he also knocked out Corentin Moutet, winning 6-3, 6-2, 7-6. The Djoker was victorious against Filip Misolic with a score of 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. It is worth noting that he only converted nine of his 30 break points in the last two matches.

Duels against Cameron Norrie? He has won them all so far. The Brit won in the first round 7-5, 6-3, 4-6, 1-6, 7-5 against Daniil Medvedev, followed by more convincing victories (7-6, 6-2, 6-1 against Federico Augustin Gomez and 6-3, 7-6, 6-2 against Jacob Fearnley). 36 break points conceded? He won’t be able to afford that against Djokovic. The odds see the Serb clearly ahead at 1.10 to 6.75.

My expert tip: 3:0 Djokovic

Tennis betting today 02.06.: Alexander Bublik – Jack Draper (3:00 p.m.)

Reaching the round of 16 is a huge success for Alexander Bublik. The 27-year-old impressed in the second round with a strong 2-6, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Alex de Minaur, followed by wins against James Duckworth (6-2, 6-4, 6-4) and Henrique Rocha (7-5, 6-1, 6-2). He didn’t drop a set in two of his three matches.

He is the underdog against Jack Draper, with the odds at 7.20 to 1.05 in his favor. Draper recently knocked out Joao Fonseca with a quick 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 victory, having previously defeated Gael Monfils 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 and Mattia Belucci 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2.

My expert tip: Set win Bublik

Tennis betting today 02.06.: Jannik Sinner – Andrey Rublev (8:15 p.m.)

Is there any way past Jannik Sinner in this Grand Slam? The world number 1 does not seem to have been affected by his months-long doping ban. His results in Paris so far: 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 against Arthur Rinderknech, 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 against Richard Gasquet and 6-0, 6-1, 6-2 against Jiri Lehecka. He has conceded a total of two breaks. He goes into the match against Andrey Rublev as the favorite with odds of 1.03 to 11.0.

The Russian, who trails 3-6 in their head-to-head record, saved his third round after Arthur Fils withdrew. Rublev had previously defeated Adam Walton 7-6, 6-1, 7-6 and Lloyd Harris 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. Important to know: Two of the three matches Sinner did not win against him involved a retirement.

My expert tip: 3:0 Sinner
