The Greek is particularly convincing on the red clay with his forehand strokes, with which he repeatedly secures quick point wins. Alcaraz, however, is one of the players with the highest returns.
All in all, bettors have much more confidence in the young Spaniard. His odds of victory are 1.20. Tsitsipas is listed as an outsider (4.50).

After a long injury, Pavlyuchenkova has fought her way back into the tennis elite. The Tokyo Olympic champion is looking to build on her French Open best.
In 2021, she was already in the final of the world’s biggest clay court tournament. In 2023, she already took out Elise Mertens, Anastasia Potapova Liudmila Samsonova and Linda Fruhvirtova.
In the last three rounds she showed nerves of steel. Each time she had to turn around a 0:1 set deficit. She is a slight underdog against Muchova from the Czech Republic.
Muchova has only dropped one set in the entire tournament, and she easily cruised through against Elina Avanesyan (6-4, 6-3) and Irina-Camelia Begu (6-3, 6-2).
This time, however, it should be much tighter. I expect the Russian to win a set in this quarter-final in any case.

Svitolina has also made a strong comeback to tennis in 2023. The wife of Gael Monfils only returned to the tennis tour in April. Before that, she gave birth to their first child together.
She made an impressive comeback, winning the tournament in Strasbourg shortly before Roland Garros. Overall, she has a record of 13 wins from 19 matches.
