Australian Open today – Matches from January 28.

Want to see Djokovic? Then you need to tune in to the Australian Open tonight. You’ll also have the opportunity to redeem a great sports betting bonus.

Most bookmakers, both old and new, have the Serbian’s match at the top of their listings.

Jannik Sinner is also in action and seems to have recovered very well from the heat shock. In the meantime, I will provide you with suggestions for tennis bets on these two matches, as well as on the two women’s quarterfinal matches.

Australian Open today – January 28, 2026

I will go into more detail in a moment as to why I have predicted that Jannik Sinner will advance at the Australian Open tonight. The decisive factor for me was the late start of the match, as the heat will no longer bother him.

As for the other quarterfinal match, I wasn’t swayed by Djokovic’s low odds. I have to admit that the Italian hasn’t looked good against him so far, but given his age, one should be a little cautious with “Djoker”…

Australian Open broadcast today: Where can you watch the matches on January 28?

If you want to watch the Australian Open today, you can watch some of the four quarterfinals for free on Eurosport.

DAZN offers more flexibility, streaming Eurosport 1 and 2 on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone. If you don’t want to miss a single match, Eurosport Player, also available via HBO Max, is your best bet, as all matches are shown live there.

Australian Open today, January 28: Musetti – Djokovic

I don’t know if the bookmakers are being too optimistic here about Djokovic’s chances! The Serb has had a relatively easy schedule so far and was able to prepare for the quarterfinals in a relaxed manner due to Mensik’s withdrawal.

Furthermore, Musetti may have lost each of the last six head-to-head matches, but the Italian has made a much more spectacular run through the tournament – especially thanks to his 3-0 victory over the very strong server Taylor Fritz!

Djokovic is in peak condition, but the odds of 1.35 on average for the favorite to win are relatively low! I’d rather bet on the world number five winning at least one set.

My expert tip: Djokovic with problems

Australian Open today, January 28: Shelton – Sinner

I already know how this story will end: Sinner and Alcaraz will face each other again in the final! In any case, the Italian should prevail here, as the hot weather should no longer play a major role.

The world number two will play later in the evening when the sun is much weaker. Unfortunately, there is less to say about the match against the American itself.

As long as Sinner can deliver his A-game, he will clearly prevail in the end – after all, he has beaten Shelton eight times since 2023 without losing a single set.

My expert tip: Sinner dominates in cooler temperatures

Australian Open today, January 28: Swiatek – Rybakina

Swiatek has not been playing at her absolute best in recent weeks, as evidenced by both the United Cup and the early rounds in Melbourne. Rybakina, on the other hand, is coming off the WTA Finals with confidence and also points to a balanced head-to-head record.

She is more stable and versatile on hard courts and can control the pace of the game better. Rybakina is the slight favorite in this high-caliber quarterfinal match, while Swiatek can score points if she regains her consistency and survives early pressure phases.

My expert tip: Every set will be fiercely contested until the end

Australian Open today, January 28: Pegula – Anisimova

Both players are currently in great form and have performed well at Grand Slam level in recent years. Anisimova has the slight momentum, but Pegula brings experience from recent finals and can counter at any time.

The match is likely to be close and competitive, with Anisimova having a slight advantage as long as she can maintain her high level of play…

My expert tip: Anisimova will win by a narrow margin!
