FC Venice vs. Lazio Roma
We can look forward to a thrilling match in Serie A next Wednesday. The FC Venice receives on 22.12. the traditional club Lazio Rome. Venice Form & Balance Check
Venezia are in solid form given the two draws they have snatched in their last two Serie A games. Coach Paolo Zanetti’s team has won four Serie A games so far and is definitely not playing like a typical promoted team. Most recently, they snatched a respectable draw at home against the Old Lady. It will be exciting to see if they can take points off the next big club, Lazio Roma.

Lazio Roma are brimming with confidence again after their recent 3-1 home win over CFC Genoa. The Romans were the team that dominated the game and once again showed what good offensive players they possess. Lazio, however, have been anything but consistent this year: they have only won two of their last five league games. Therefore, Venice FC will also create some scoring chances in the upcoming match. The Laziali conceded 33 goals and don’t really look consolidated.
Defensive with big problems
Lazio have a coach in Maurizio Sarri who wants to see spectacle. With his old love, SSC Napoli, he played some opponents to the wall in Serie A. With his new club, Lazio Roma, the procedures did not yet work. So it happened again and again that the Laziali had to concede goals even against supposedly weaker offensive teams. Therefore, it was hardly surprising that they also conceded a goal against CFC Genoa.

We expect the Venetians to play in their usual 4-3-3 formation. We think Paolo Zanetti will go for a similar formation as against Sampdoria Genoa in the last match. In the centre of attack, however, we expect Henry to start.
Maurizio Sarri uses a 4-3-3 system in every game. However, the ex-Napoli coach will have to do without his top scorer Ciro Immobile. The 31-year-old Italian could be replaced by Felipe Anderson in the centre of attack, as he has been recently.
