Mallorca – Levante Tip, Prediction & Odds La Liga 10/26/2025

Home » Mallorca – Levante Tip, Prediction & Odds La Liga 10/26/2025

Vedat Muriqi is in the form of his life, with five goals in eight league games, the Mallorca striker is enjoying his best start to a season in the red and black jersey. On Sunday (2:00 p.m.), his team welcomes Levante, who are level on points, to the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix for a classic basement battle. Both teams are on eight points and have an identical goal difference of minus four, so every point could decide the direction of the coming weeks.

Mallorca comes into the game on the back of an impressive 3-1 away win at Sevilla, where Mateo Joseph shone with a brace. Levante, on the other hand, suffered a bitter 3-0 home defeat to Rayo Vallecano, remains without a home win this season and will also have to do without the injured Carlos Álvarez, which significantly weakens their creativity in midfield.

Historically, Levante has the slightly better record with three wins from the last five head-to-head matches, but since 2019, these encounters have always ended with more than 1.5 goals and without a single draw. The bookmakers see Mallorca as the clear favorite, which seems justified given their current form, home advantage, and recent results.

  • Venue: Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, Palma de Mallorca
  • Date and time: October 26, 2025, 2:00 p.m.
  • Competition: La Liga (Matchday 10)

First half under 1.5 goals: Mallorca have not conceded more than one goal before the break in their last five games, and Levante also played out a goalless first half in their last game. The absence of Carlos Álvarez significantly weakens Levante’s build-up play, which is why a tentative first half seems likely.

Both teams to score: Vedat Muriqi scored twice last time out and is in impressive form. Levante has scored in four consecutive games and has 13 goals this season. At the same time, Levante has the second-worst defense in the league with 17 goals conceded. Both teams have scored in around 80% of their recent appearances, which supports this tip.

Home win for Mallorca: Mallorca has gained confidence after its 3-1 win in Seville. Levante is winless away from home and without a single point on the road. The absence of Álvarez further reduces Levante’s creative options, while their defensive vulnerability and away weakness favor a Mallorca win. The odds of around 2.1 offer interesting value.

Mallorca Form & Record Check

RCD Mallorca has had a mixed start under coach Jagoba Arrasate, but is slowly stabilizing. With eight points from nine games, the team is in 17th place and shares the same number of points as its upcoming opponent Levante. Celta Vigo is just one point behind, so Mallorca currently has little room for error.

The form curve of the last five league games shows inconsistency: two wins, two defeats, and one draw. It is striking that in four of the five games, at least one goal was conceded, but Mallorca also scored in four games. In the first half, there was never more than one goal in any of the five games, with many decisions only being made after the break.

The best performance was the away win at Sevilla: after falling behind, Mallorca turned the game around with Vedat Muriqi’s equalizer and a brace from Mateo Joseph. Joseph’s performances and Muriqi’s five goals this season are currently the main individual pillars of the team. Before that, there were narrow defeats at Athletic and Real Sociedad, a 1-0 win against Alavés, and a respectable 1-1 draw against Atlético Madrid.

Defensively, the team is vulnerable and remains dependent on individual offensive actions. In terms of personnel, the situation is relaxed, with no injuries currently reported, so Arrasate has a full squad to choose from. Against Levante, who are level on points, it will be crucial to get into the game earlier and make use of their home strength.

Coach Jagoba Arrasate is expected to field a 4-2-3-1 formation. Román will be in goal, with Maffeo, Valjent, Raíllo, and Mojica forming the back four.

Costa and Morlanes are expected to play in central midfield. Virgili, Darder, and Llabrés are set to occupy the attacking wide and central positions. Muriqi is the designated striker, who is currently enjoying his best start to a season in a Mallorca shirt with five goals in eight games.

The club has reported no injury-related absences, so Arrasate has a full squad to choose from. Mascarell, Dani Rodríguez, and Torre, on loan from Barcelona, are among those on the bench. The final line-up will be officially announced shortly before kick-off.

Levante Form & Record Check

Levante is in 16th place after nine matchdays with 8 points and a goal difference of minus 4. The table is extremely tight: Mallorca is directly behind them on equal points, while Valencia is only one point ahead. Small changes can make a big difference at this stage of the season.

The last five league games show a mixed record: two wins, one draw, two defeats. The strong away results are striking, with wins in Oviedo (2-0) and at Girona (4-0), while there are clear problems at home. There has been no home win yet, and twelve of the 17 goals conceded were scored in their own stadium.

With 17 goals conceded, Levante has the second-worst defense in the league. After the 0-3 home defeat against Rayo, coaches Julián Calero and Manu Sánchez emphasized the need to be more stable defensively. There is an urgent need for action, especially on set pieces and crosses.

Offensively, things are looking decent with 13 goals scored. Players such as Etta Eyong, Iván Romero, Roger Brugué, and Sergi Guardiola pose a threat in front of goal. However, Carlos Álvarez is out against Mallorca due to an ankle sprain and is doubtful for the following game against Celta. Manu Sánchez has established himself as a reliable left-back with nine starts and 688 minutes played and is calling for more defensive solidity.

The priority must clearly be on defense: counterattack protection, set piece defense, and better cross defense are essential. Only then can the existing offensive potential be converted into points and the dangerous proximity to the relegation zone be escaped.

Coach Julián Calero is likely to stick with his tried-and-tested 4-4-2 formation. Carlos Álvarez is out with a broken ankle, and Karl Etta Eyong is expected to replace him in the starting lineup, forming the offense alongside Iván Romero.

The defensive back four consists of Manu Sánchez on the left, Dela, Matías Moreno, and Toljan in front of goalkeeper Mathew Ryan. This combination is considered the most stable option for the Granotes.

In midfield, Roger Brugué, Unai Vencedor, Kervin Arriaga, and José Luis Morales will provide rhythm and verticality. Manu Sánchez has already collected four yellow cards but remains an important player on the left side. Levante’s priority is to stabilize their recently weak defense.

Mallorca – Levante Head-to-head & Statistics

The head-to-head record shows a slight advantage for Levante: Levante have won three of the last five encounters, Mallorca two. There have been no draws in this series.

The most recent encounters all took place in La Liga. In January 2022, Levante won 2-0 away, and in October 2021, Mallorca won 1-0 at home. The first halves were mostly quiet, with four of the five games seeing no more than one goal at halftime. The games were mostly decided after halftime.

Both teams scored at least once in all five games. Mallorca has scored at least one goal in each of the last four head-to-head matches, while Levante has conceded at least one goal in four consecutive games against Mallorca. The games have rarely been high-scoring, with the total number of goals remaining below 3.5 in all five encounters.
