The change of coach seems to be having an effect at Hertha for the time being. Tayfun Korkut took over the reins from Pal Dardai a fortnight ago and has since picked up four points. Because the coach, with his more offensive approach, offers the clear contrast to Dardai’s pragmatic and results-oriented football. Korkut has also been able to get more out of his attacking personnel, for example by using Stevan Jovetic and Ishak Belfodil as a one-two. Jovetic scored three goals in the two games under Korkut, two of which were set up by his strike partner Belfodil.
