After the disappointing last few years, that’s exactly where Arsenal FC want to be. Because they even missed out on qualifying for the Europa League last season, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang & Co. can concentrate 100% on the Premier League and reaching the Champions League this season. However, the strong results of the last few weeks must also be put into perspective. Four of the six opponents beaten currently occupy 16th, 17th, 18th and 20th place in the table, and the next few weeks will show whether the Gunners can keep up with the top teams again. Liverpool FC will have to do without Roberto Firmino in the coming weeks, who has suffered a “serious thigh injury”. In all likelihood Diogo Jota will play in his place. Otherwise, Thiago could be back in the starting eleven for the first time after overcoming injury.
