Augsburg form & balance check
Augsburg are once again in a relegation battle this season. Especially in the first half of the season, FCA often hung just above the line. However, the Fuggerstädter with coach Enrico Maaßen are determined to enter their 13th Bundesliga season in a row and not slip into the 2nd Bundesliga.
In the new year, however, the team from the Lech came up trumps above all with their home strength and thus continued to fight their way up the table. Leipzig we expect very again in a 3-4-2-1. As recently against Dortmund and Hertha, Henrichs and Raum will operate on the two rails. Haidara played himself more and more into the focus lately and underlined this with his goal against Hertha. Christopher Nkunku recently returned to team training and will presumably return to the squad.
The visitors from Augsburg, on the other hand, will probably again play in their usual 4-4-2. Felix Uduokhai recently returned to the squad of the Fuggerstädter and could move into the starting eleven against Leipzig. Ermedin Demirovic is still suspended after his red card against Schalke.
