For the Hornets of Watford FC, the Premier League adventure is already over after just one season. Since relegation has been mathematically sealed, Watford have hardly been able to get anything together. The Hornets have only managed to pick up one meagre point from their last five games.
Turnaround in the summer?
Unlike the last time they were relegated from the Premier League two years ago, Watford will not be able to keep key players like Sarr or Sissoko this time. Especially for Sarr, the Hornets are likely to collect one or two more euros. The Senegalese has not been able to match the good performances of the previous season this season, but with his young age he definitely has the potential for an ambitious Premier League club. Sissoko, captain of the club and a pre-season signing from Spurs, is also set to leave Watford again.
