Tottenham Form & Balance Check
Tottenham go into this clash on the back of two defeats in a row. Before the narrow 3-2 defeat against Arsenal, they were beaten 4-0 at Newcastle United. Under the management of Angelos Postecoglou, the team has picked up seven points from its last five games and is in fifth place with 60 points.
Fourth place, and therefore Champions League qualification, is already seven points clear and will be difficult for Spurs to achieve. However, they will be looking to consolidate their position, as rivals Man United could still challenge the Londoners for a Europa League place

The South Korean Heung-Min Son, familiar to many from the Bundesliga, is having another more than solid season. He is now in his ninth season for Spurs and has matured into the absolute leader of his team. Last weekend, he scored his 16th goal of the season and also contributed nine assists.
This makes the now 31-year-old his team’s top scorer. At the end of March, he also shot his home country to first place in the group of Asian nations in the World Cup qualifiers, scoring in both games against Thailand. It remains to be seen whether he can make the difference against Chelsea, as his team were left without a chance in the first leg.

Chelsea play with a 4-2-2-2 formation. Enzo Fernández is still missing through injury in the center. Instead, Conor Gallagher and Moisés Caicedo will line up on the double-six. Nicolas Jackson and Palmer form the forward line. The Blues’ injury list remains long, meaning coach Pochettino will have to fall back on talents such as Deivid Washington and Alfie Gilchrist on the bench.
