Werder coach Ole Werner won’t be making any big changes ahead of the upcoming match. He doesn’t have many options, as the top eleven has already been on the pitch in recent weeks. Werder will once again play with a three-man backline and rely on the twin spearhead of Füllkrug and Ducksch in attack.
The opponents from Bochum will have to do without captain Losilla for the next few games. The Frenchman was sent off against SC Freiburg and will be replaced by Kunde in Bremen. Zoller will also return to the bench and Förster will play from the start in his place. In attack, VfL will again rely on Asano, Hofmann and Antwi-Adjej.
