This season, FC Augsburg always shows very inconsistent performances. Füllkrug not only leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with 14 goals in the season so far, but has even played himself into the focus of the national team.
Mitchell Weiser currently has the most assists for Bremen. The former Leverkusen player has already set up eight goals this season. Weiser feels right at home on the right wing in Bremen’s system. However, the 28-year-old injured himself in the game against Dortmund and will miss the Bremen team for a few more weeks.

Augsburg last played in a classic 4-4-2, with coach Maassen missing two key centre-backs in Oxford and Uduokhai. Dorsch made his comeback in the starting line-up against Hertha. Dion Beljo could return to the starting eleven. In addition, FCA are missing Cardona, Hahn, Rexhbecaj and Strobl.
With regard to the upcoming match, Werder coach Ole Werner is not planning any major changes. Since the top eleven has already been on the pitch in recent weeks, he does not need to change much.
