ATP Tournament at Wimbledon, Semifinals on Friday, July 10, 2026, 2:30 p.m.
Even though many 2026 World Cup bookmakers are keeping a close eye on events overseas these days, they’ve still provided you with a wide range of betting options for this clash of the titans. After all, many tennis fans want to place a bet on Sinner vs. Djokovic!
For my part, I’ve come to the conclusion that the Serbian veteran will win at least one set, but will most likely run out of steam down the stretch.
Based on this, I see “Over 3.5 sets” at odds of around 1.60 as a promising bet for a Sinner vs. Djokovic match. Perhaps it will even be as dramatic as this year’s Australian Open, when “Djoker” clinched the fifth set against the South Tyrolean.
Sinner vs. Djokovic AI Predictions:
Since the start of the tournament, Sinner hasn’t dominated his opponents in the same way he did last season. With one exception, the South Tyrolean has had to go to a tiebreak in every match so far.
A tiebreak in the Sinner-Djokovic match at odds of around 1.47 is therefore a very tempting betting option for me in this semifinal. After all, the Serb looks incredibly fresh and is still returning serves at a top-notch level.
He also just managed to stand up to an athletically strong serving specialist like Auger-Aliassime, going to the “decider” with him three times when the score was 6-6! He could pull off something similar against Sinner now.
Predicted probability of winning:
| Sinner to win |
Djokovic to win |
| 83.5% |
16.5% |
To be fair, however, Djokovic—at 39 years old—might be physically drained after the longest Wimbledon quarterfinal in history.
The South Tyrolean hasn’t shown his best tennis so far, but a 3-1 win for Sinner at current odds of 3.35 is still, in my view, the most promising pick for a specific set bet.
And in fact, this scenario isn’t unlikely. The veteran champion could indeed win the first set, but then be unable to keep up with the pace down the stretch. That’s exactly how he ultimately lost the Australian Open final to Alcaraz!
What you need to keep in mind for Sinner vs. Djokovic bets
- Grand Slam classic: This is already the eighth meeting between these two giants on the tour; Jannik Sinner leads their head-to-head record at the major level 2-1 following his triumph in last year’s Wimbledon semifinals.
- Physical Discrepancy: While Sinner is fully recovered after his straight-sets victory over Jan-Lennard Struff, Djokovic had to battle through a quarterfinal thriller lasting over 5 hours and 15 minutes—the longest quarterfinal in Wimbledon history.
- Sinner’s Service Wall: The South Tyrolean and defending champion is in absolute top form in London and has posted an outstanding 88% break point save rate on his own service games throughout the tournament.
- Djokovic’s Resilience: Despite taking a medical timeout due to a leg injury in his last match, the 39-year-old record-holding Grand Slam champion is in his 13th Wimbledon semifinal and has improved his on-grass record since 2018 to an impressive 46-2.
