After a very mixed last season, the Wolves seem to have improved only slightly and it looks as if they will be part of the lower midfield again. They won one of the first four league games, but lost three of them. To tell the whole truth, however, the lost games were partly very unlucky, most recently at the weekend away to Leverkusen, where VfL conceded the decisive goal in injury time to lose 3:4.

After initial difficulties, it looks as if VfB Stuttgart is slowly getting on the right track. In the first game of this still young season, they drew away against Freiburg, and then they could only draw against Mainz in their first home game of the season. However, they emerged victorious from the last two weekends against Gladbach and Dortmund.
The 5-1 win against BVB last Sunday was nothing less than a demonstration of power, in which they did not let Borussia participate at all. With these seven points, they are currently in seventh place in the table and want to continue the upward trend of recent weeks.

Although the Swabians have a very good offense, which, with Deniz Undav and Ermedin Demirovic, can be dangerous in any situation, at the same time they are often too unconcentrated at the back.
