Arsenal Form & Balance Check
For the Gunners, after a really strong end-of-season run last term, this season is just as seamless. The preparation of the team of coach Mikel Arteta was top and there were victories against Sevilla and Chelsea FC, among others. The Gunners started the league with a win against Crystal Palace and also won the first home match against Leicester City 4:2. Then last weekend there was a 3-0 win against AFC Bournemouth. Ödegaard scored twice and centre-back Saliba once.
To extend league lead
Arsenal FC are the only team in the Premier League to have won their first three games. Even though the preparation went very well, such a start was not necessarily expected. In their current form, the Gunners are without question among the extended group of favourites for the title. If they can also win in front of their own fans on Saturday, then they would without question have their best start to a season in what feels like an eternity on paper.
Arsenal facts & analysis
– Top of the table with 9 points.
– Most recent 3-0 win against Bournemouth
– In impressive form for weeks
Fulham form & balance check
This year it should finally work out. The last few seasons after promotion to the Premier League have rarely been crowned with success at Fulham FC. The Cottagers were relegated the last two times. This year, the Londoners have once again strengthened themselves very well and the goal, as already mentioned above, is to stay in the league. Unlike last time, Fulham FC got off to a very good start. After three match days, the Londoners are still without defeat and there has already been a win. Last weekend they won 3-2 against Brentford.
Can they pull off a surprise at the Emirates?
Fulham FC are one of the teams in the Premier League that are difficult to play against. Especially Mitrovic in attack is a real house number. The Serbian is already on three goals and last weekend the record man of the last season was again the decisive player in the Championship. In the 90th minute, he scored the celebrated winner for the Cottagers. Overall, the Fulham squad makes a very experienced impression and a surprise against the Gunners is therefore not out of the question.
Fulham facts & analysis
– Still unbeaten
– Stand on 5 points
– Last win 3-2 against Brentford
Predicted line-up – last update on 25 August 2022
Arsenal FC are truly playing successful football at the moment and coach Arteta will see no reason why he should change anything about his first eleven compared to the 3-0 win over Bournemouth. Fulham FC also have no reason to make any changes after the 3-2 defeat to Brentford
